Thanks to the continued generosity of the Explorer West
community and friends of the school, the Rick Marting Financial
Aid Endowment has grown significantly since its inception in
2015. This year we added more than $101,000 to the Endowment,
bringing it to a balance of over $3.3 million. The earnings
on Endowment investments significantly increase our ability
to provide financial aid awards by adding to our financial aid
funds each year. In 2024 we provided tuition assistance to over
40% of our families, positioning us as a leader in Seattle-area
independent schools for access and equity.
